Auslan (Australian sign language) is a fully recognised language
differing in structure to spoken English. It is the native language
to the Australian Deaf community.
Tasdeaf provides an interpreting service statewide in many settings
such as medical, legal, meetings and other situations when there
is a need for communication between a hearing person and a signing
Deaf person.
